In real life, the Austin Seven was produced between 1922 and 1939 and outstripped the sales of any other British car of the era. The RN, introduced at the beginning of the 1930s, comprised the long wheelbase steel 2-door saloon, which Austin modified for use as a van, too - a replica of which also features in the Oxford series of 1:43 scale small commercial vehicles.
